JKidz
WHAT IS JKIDZ?

Jkidz is the children’s ministry of Journey Church. It is an exciting, engaging experience for children ages birth through 5th grade, where kids learn about Jesus in safe, age-appropriate, creative and relevant ways. Jkidz happens every Sunday during both worship experiences (9:30 and 11:15).


ARRIVING AT JKIDZ

When you arrive, a Jkidz Volunteer will welcome you and help you check your child into our computerized check-in system to help ensure their security. Your child will be given a name tag for personal identification and the adult will be given an identification label that is necessary for the release of your child at the end of the worship experience.

For first time families, a Jkidz Host Volunteer will help register your child, assist you with Check-in, and take you to your child’s room where they will experience Jesus on their level.

It’s important for you to know that if for any reason your attention is required during the worship experience, we will contact you via personal text message or parent alert. Through a parent alert, your child’s security code number will appear on the screens in the worship area, letting you know you are needed.

All Jkidz volunteers are background checked and trained to guarantee your child the best experience possible. During the worship experience, they will learn God’s truths at levels appropriate for their age.


WHAT DO JKIDZ EXPERIENCE?

The Nest
It is never too early for a child to experience the love of Jesus.  In our nursery, Jkidz Volunteers provide caring and nurturing environments where children are prayed over and loved on.

Waddlers
Our 1-2 year olds enjoy learning about God through songs, storytelling, and group activities.

Jumpers
Our Preschoolers (3-Kindergarten) are curious about everything and we are intentional about tapping into their sense of wonder.  Each week through worship, videos, puppets, storytelling, crafts and games, we teach them basic principles of who God is and why He wants to be their best friend forever.  

Adventurers
Our Jkidz students (1st – 5th grade) are engaged through high-energy worship, wacky games, fun videos, live acting, and relational small groups to teach them the relevant and timeless truths of God’s word and how to apply it to their lives.
