Sharon and Terrance are racing against time to make change
Our journey includes you
At the very last minute and at age 39, a man chooses life over death. He has a one way bus ticket to New York from the prison gates in South Florida, a packet of cigarettes and a short string of hope. This story is about lost dreams, broken relationships, life and death, the search for love and family. This story is about change, the cruel pain that drives it and the chance to live for justice and equality.
Some of the plays Sharon Jasprizza has written have been produced in various formats.
The showcase “A Late Sunday Afternoon with Terrance”, on May 18, 2014, featured three of her plays read as table reads, and a Q & A with Terrance, the audience, and associated others.
Another showcase with the addition of a new play "I'm not that Guy" captured the essence of Terrance's journey at the DOE Harlem 1 theater on, Father's Day, Sunday 15 June, 2014. The Q & A with the audience, Terrance, Sharon and the cast highlighted the need for further story telling to illustrate the power within us to change lives. Ray DeForest and Tiffany Hargett surprised our audience with heartfelt songs to match the essence captured that afternoon.
"Your Story Matters" Performance at QED Astoria Theatre, New York, on Sunday 30 November, 2014 was an outstanding success. Our current work in 2016 involves building the support for our directions in educational and social reform.
